Dichroic Glass -  Fused Glass Pendant on a 24 " leather oiled cord  

Multiple layers of dichroic glass are fused in a kiln at 1500 degrees.This gives the piece the depth of shimmer and color.  Some of the glass is opaque and some is transparent, giving a magical quality to the piece. This technique is only available in dichroic glass. It also makes each piece unique.

 This piece is very sparkly - cant see it in the photo

Glass is inherently difficult to photograph accurately.  I do my best to present an accurate picture.
